Ecological Benefits: Attract pollinators such as butterflies and specialized bees, highly adaptable

Bloom period: spring- early summer

Best Areas for Planting: all levels of moisture and sun, well-drained soils of clay and loam with high organic matter content

Natural Habitat: can be found in many various wet habitats or drier habitats of alkaline soils
